Footscray (at the Marsh) Poultry ClubFootscray & District Poultry Club Inc.2013 Club Profile   Club meets monthly at 2.00 pm on the second Sunday afternoon of each month. Informative discussion along with hands on demonstrations, on every thing from chooks and sustainability, breeding, incubation, poultry husbandry to washing, preparing and showing. Our not-for-profit club, administrated entirely by volunteers, leads the way in Victoria with country hospitality in a city atmoshere.   Footscray (at the Marsh) Poultry Club,  has made Bacchus Marsh their home. Over  the last nine years we have been renovating the old Produce Hall at the previously referred to,  Bacchus Marsh Showgrounds, transforming it into the largest most advanced Poultry Pavilion in Victoria.     Among our membership we have several Poultry Judges, many leading breeders, and members with extensive poultry health and husbandry knowledge.       We are currently looked on as one of the most progressive poultry clubs. Many poultry enthusiasts from all over Victoria as well as other states attend our events. We hold two shows a year, poultry seminars and fundraising poultry auctions, at our Poultry Pavilion/Clubrooms,  Racecourse and Recreation Reserve, [Harness Track] Bacchus Marsh.Balliang-Bacchus Marsh Rd. {continuation of Griffiths St.)  Melways Map 333 A 12
